The Western Wall, also known as the Prayer Wall or Wailing Wall, in the Old City of Jerusalem, is a place of prayer and pilgrimage sacred to the Jewish people.
It is the only remains of the retaining wall surrounding the Temple Mount, the site of the First and Second Temples of Jerusalem, held to be uniquely holy by the ancient Jews.
Jews lament the destruction of the Temple and pray for its restoration, and it has long been a custom to push slips of paper with wishes or prayers on them into the wall’s cracks.
It is in that spirit that we bring our prayer requests before the Lord on this page. Pastor Eckleberry will remember each request during daily prayers. We invite you to join us in praying for those listed on this page.
Please use the contact form to submit a prayer request for yourself and another. It’s O.K. if you’d prefer not to share details or names. God knows and understands. Please remember to submit praises as well!
